Seven bids submitted in the first municipal tender to sell land for housing construction on Zorrotzaurre

The Bilbao City Hall tender to sell a plot on Zorrotzaurre to build fixed-price housing as part of the neighbourhood rehabilitation project, has attracted seven bids. It is the first housing operation City Hall has launched in this area.

The bids, which all undercut the minimum price estimate in the terms and conditions of €6.3 million, were submitted by Amenabar, Jaureguizar, Construcciones Murias, Arrásate, Luis Martínez Benito and two temporary joint ventures (on the one hand that formed byFloresttaSanchinarroand Residencial Floresta Valdebebas; and on the other the one formed by Cycasa and Eslora Proyectos).

The tender refers to the sale of plot SI-1, measuring 2,826sq. m., situated on the right bank of Deusto canal, beside the recently inaugurated rowing pavilion. It will be used to build two, 8-storey buildings, which will contain just over a hundred fixed-price homes. These dwellings will have two and three bedrooms.

The Bilbao City Government Board is expected to reach its final decision regarding the tender next week.
